If you’re looking for a smaller, more relaxed alternative to the large commercial boats operating out of Denarau, I highly recommend this trip. The smaller passenger numbers meant there was plenty of space on board to spread out and enjoy the journey without feeling crowded. Just be prepared to swap to a smaller tender at the island, it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
The island itself is simple, natural and beautiful, with surprisingly good snorkelling considering how close it is to the mainland. It was the perfect place to unwind, swim and enjoy the surroundings.
Lunch was delicious, and the crew were outstanding, friendly, welcoming and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great day.
If you prefer a more personal experience with a smaller group, beautiful scenery and a wonderful team, this is an excellent choice. We loved it so much that we went back for a second day, and we’d happily do it again.
