Glacier Country Helicopters is a local family, owned and operated company. Husband and wife duo Poppy and Gus Gordon who are both commercial pilots started the company in 2014. You’ll find them at the hangar or flying one our helicopters most days.
Our friendly team are certified Qualmark Gold, have received the Traveller’s Choice Award several years and look forward to showing you the glaciers, rainforests and mountains that form our incredible back yard.

Grandioses Erlebnis
Wir flogen mit Poppy, die uns die Gletscher ganz aus der Nähe zeigte. Wir landeten auf einem Schneefeld des Gletschers. Dank des traumhaften Wetters konnten wir bis zu den Stränden der WestCoast blicken.

Fabelhafter Flug bei tollem Wetter
Unser lange geplanter Helikopterflug fiel leider buchstäblich ins Wasser. Gott sei Dank konnten wir auf den frühen Flug am nächsten Tag umbuchen. Der fand dann bei tollem Sonnenschein und mit einer hervorragenden Pilotin statt. Es war ein beeindruckendes Erlebnnis.

Erfüllter Traum
Kurzentschlossen nach Wetterbericht gebucht. Nach vielen Erlebnissen sollte das unser Höhepunkt werden. Bei der Anreise auf einmal eine SMS auf unserer NZ Nummer: verpasster Anruf. Bevor wir reagieren können, eine zweite: ganz liebe Anfrage, ob wir früher da sein könnten, das Wetter sei kritisch. Wir können! So schnell waren wir in NZ noch nie! Danach begann alles, was wir gelesen hatten, nur noch viel besser. Anfahrt, Flug, Aussicht, zwei Landungen die Berge die Wolken...die Fotos eine klare Empfehlung!

Wahnsinns Gletscher Erlebnis
Unkomplizierte Buchung, Preisrabatt, alles top organisiert, hohes Sicherheitsgefühl, sehr freundliche und nette Crew, super Pilot der ganz viel erklärte, half beim Ein-/Aussteigen, Fotos nahm für alle die wollten… absolute Empfehlung für ein einmaliges Erlebnis!!! Immer wieder gerne!
