Came to the reception area to check in for my husbands Super Car Fast Dash, acknowledging that we were early were told we may be able to get in early, as it turned out we couldnt so had to wait until our allotted time, we took this time to walk thru the museum. We were the only customers in the entire place for about 45 minutes. After walking thru the museum we had enough and tried to make our way to the cafe, to wait for our session. In the meantime staff walking around and in and out of the area, so it was obvious we were the only people there. Our allotted time of 11am came and went, we waited and waited, tried on 4 seperate occasions to get someone’s attention only to be ignored all times. The girl who checked us in finally came over to the cafe area and yelled
to us “you can come up here now” and disappeared, leaving us there in the cafe area with the door locked, unable to follow her up to wherever she disappeared to. We finally got up to the museum area again where we were called for, and were left standing there with no help from anyone in where to go or what to do. The attitude of staff and unwillingness to help was now getting us annoyed. We just wanted someone to talk to us and communicate with us what we were doing and had to do to get ready for my husbands ride in the Ferrari. Finally someone came to help us and ushered my husband away, once again leaving me standing there! My husband was offered no chance to take a photo with the car, and I was not given the opportunity to do so for him. I hurried to the lady at reception asking where can I go to watch him and when will he be coming out. She pointed and said over there, turning her back and walking away. By the time I got to the deck of the cafe area to watch him he was out on the track. Wow lucky for him he got a warm up lap so got an extra lap as he was the first customer of the day. Over in 5 minutes. The whole experience was absolute crap! You seriously need to train all of your staff in customer service, a little bit of communication when we arrived as to what we could expect, where we need to go and what to do would have been great. We had every intention of buying the same experience for my son who is going to Queenstown in 2 weeks but never got a chance to and certainly wouldnt have wasted more money
after our experience.
