Join us for a memorable day on the Otago Central Rail Trail, starting from Clyde. Your adventure begins with a quick bike fitting and safety briefing at our depot. After gearing up, you'll set off towards Poolburn, cycling through the picturesque Poolburn Gorge. This route features scenic bridges and historic tunnels, making it a unique experience.

As you ride the 52 km back to Clyde, take your time to enjoy the stunning views and perhaps spot some local wildlife. Along the way, feel free to stop at a cafe or pub for a coffee or lunch break. Our friendly team ensures you have everything you need for a comfortable ride, regardless of your cycling experience.

Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a beginner, our premium e-bikes make the journey enjoyable for everyone. Remember to bring your sense of adventure and get ready for a fantastic day outdoors!

Itinerary

  • 8:30am Arrive at CCT Clyde for bike fitting and briefing
  • 9am departure from the CCT Clyde Depot to Poolburn (Auripo Road)
  • Ride 52 km back to Clyde
  • Break for coffee, lunch, or a pint at a cafe or pub along the way
  • 4pm return your bikes to the CCT depot
