Experience the thrill of River Rafting on the Waiau Gorge with Amuri Alpine Rafting!
Your adventure begins when you depart from the Amuri river base and head downstream on a scenic trip through the stunning Waiau Gorge.
Be in awe of the dazzling landscape that surrounds you as you float on this pristine river and keep an eye out for trout that may be feeding beneath you.
There will be the opportunity for a swim and to jump off rocks into the Waiau’s crystal clear waters (weather dependant) or you can simply relax and take in the outstanding scenery as you float downstream.
Next up is an adrenalin-pumping ride through the Waiau’s Grade 2 rapids…full on fun for all the family!
The finale of the trip will be an exciting journey by jet boat back to the Amuri river base.

Amazing experience
This was the best experience! We had an amazing friendly knowledgeable guide who made our trip so fun. This is definitely something we would do again. The kids and adults had a blast! Rafting, rock jumping, jet boating- it had it all!

For our family of 6 we found this was a top class experience that we will always remember doing together! Special thanks to our guide/instructor Darryl he really did make it a great day for us :-)

Wow!
The river was perfect for us as we're beginners. We didn't know what to expect but we had a blast! Our instructor was awesome, kind and friendly with heaps of kiwi banter. Definitely would do it again.

Fun, relaxing trip
the staff were really helpful and friendly. The guide makes the trip and he was a combination of fun and informative. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to others.
