Good value for money
Fantastic family experience will be back to do the tour again.
Definitely feel this tour was more for children. Tour Guide was too loud & felt like we were in kindergarten the way we were spoken to despite there only being 2 children in our tour. Pleased I have ticked it off the list, but would definitely not do it again.
With the factory closed now, the display stats and story etc. ring a bit hollow. The samples you get are made in Australia and the tour guide has to try to keep to the script. Like the chocolate itself, not great on quality, but passes off as acceptable if you are keen. A new 'visitor' centre is behind schedule and will boast a huge retail space and promises some manufacturing demos. But will still be hollow given the lack of NZ based production. Might as well be another M&M world that spring up in tourist trap locations without any context.
