Kiwi Connect tours are designed for small groups which will enable you to sit back, relax in the comfort of our 100% electric vans to take in the wonderful ambience of this beautiful island paradise and try some divine wines Waiheke has to offer!
This is what makes us unique, the privacy and attention is unmatched by any group tour. It's very personal & private experience with just you and your guide.
You will spend 4 hours in style visiting all the main points of interest during the course of the tour and give you the opportunity to take amazing photos at various points and our guides will tell you about the 950-year history of this amazing island and of course sampling wine. All while making the most of the private knowledgable guide and visiting also some hidden gems!
If arriving from Auckland, enjoy an amazing picturesque 40-minute crossing to Waiheke onboard the Fullers Ferry from the CBD to the port of Matiatia (at own cost) where you will be welcomed by your own personal Guide. Pick up from your accommodation will be arranged for those already staying on the island.
Hot tips:
• The last ferry from the island leaves after 11pm so if you are not in a hurry to get back to the city then we can drop you in Oneroa which is just 15 minutes walk to the ferry where you can explore the Village at your leisure
• This tour is perfect for guests who prefer a small group experience or couples on romantic breaks - private, personal and intimate!

Fun Experience!
Had a great time doing the wine tour around the island! Susan was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience easy. Would recommend for anybody wanting a smaller & more private tour

Great choice
We ended up having a private tour with Mathieu since no one else booked. Fantastic! Mathieu was early getting to the ferry port and so were we, so we set off to town to get a coffee and short sightseeing. What an unexpected bonus. We toured 3 wineries including Postage stamp, Batch and Mudbrick. We had a table to ourselves and an attentive wine steward at each location. We were able to choose from a tasting list at each location, and everything was previously set up by Mathieu. All we did was walk in the door and pick our wines! So easy, fun and delicious! And when it started to rain towards the end of our tour, Mathieu brought us umbrellas to walk back to the van. Lunch was at Batch (self pay). We planned only 2 days in advance and our first 2 restaurant choices we provided when booking were full. Just adding that for those that want a specific lunch restaurant to plan a bit more ahead than we did. Between each winery, we stopped and took in the amazing views. Mathieu was a great driver, very knowledgeable about the area even though originally not a Kiwi. That was one thing we noticed throughout our NZ travels- it’s such a beautiful country, we met so many visiting on worker’s visas from the EU, etc. The tour van was clean and tidy. It was not brand new so there wasn’t any place to charge devices other than the driver’s seat. Bring fully charged electronics, although I’m sure I could have used the front chargers if needed. All in all, we had a great time and we are so glad we book this tour vs. trying the hop on, hop off bus- that would have been too much planning, no interesting tidbits from our guide, and it would have been tough on a day with intermittent rain. We’re also glad we weren’t in a crowd of people as we had the wine stewards all to ourselves- amazing!
